Everything You
Need to Know About Coaching Programs
Have questions about how coaching works, who it’s for, or what to expect? Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions we receive from prospective and current clients. These FAQs are designed to help you understand our approach, services, and what it takes to get results with PUR Training.
What makes PUR Training different from other online coaching programs?
PUR Training is built around true one-on-one coaching, not preset templates or mass programming. Every training and nutrition plan is designed from scratch based on your experience level, goals, lifestyle, recovery capacity, and performance feedback. Coaching is ongoing and adaptive, meaning your program evolves as you do — not every 12 weeks, but as needed to keep progress moving forward.
How do I get started with coaching?
Getting started begins with a short application form. This allows us to understand your goals, training background, and expectations before moving forward. From there, we’ll connect to confirm alignment and outline next steps. There’s no obligation — the goal is to make sure PUR Training is the right fit before any commitment is made.
What types of coaching do you offer?
We offer structured coaching in bodybuilding, powerlifting and strength development, and nutrition-focused coaching including macronutrient planning. Many clients combine training and nutrition coaching for a fully integrated approach, but services can be tailored based on your specific needs and goals.
Is the first session really free?
Yes. Your first session is complimentary and serves as an onboarding and assessment session. We use this time to establish baselines, review movement patterns, discuss goals, and walk you through how coaching works. It’s designed to give you clarity and confidence before deciding to continue.
Who is PUR Training best suited for?
PUR Training is best suited for individuals who are ready to train with intention and consistency. Whether your goal is muscle growth, strength gains, improved body composition, or long-term performance, coaching works best for those willing to follow structure, communicate openly, and commit to the process.
Do I need to be experienced to work with PUR Training?
No prior experience is required. Programs are built around your current ability level and progress at an appropriate pace. Beginners receive structured guidance and education, while experienced lifters benefit from refined programming, strategic progression, and detailed performance feedback.
How does nutrition coaching work?
Nutrition coaching focuses on building sustainable habits that support your training and recovery. Depending on your goals, this may include calorie targets, macronutrient breakdowns, food structure, and ongoing adjustments. The goal is not short-term dieting, but a nutrition approach you can maintain long term while still seeing results.
Will I learn how to track my macros?
Yes. Macro coaching includes education and guidance on how to track, adjust, and apply macronutrients effectively. You’ll learn how food choices impact performance and body composition so you’re not just following numbers, but understanding how to use them.
How often are programs adjusted?
Programs are adjusted based on performance data, recovery feedback, and real-world results. If something isn’t working as expected, changes are made promptly — not delayed by rigid timelines. The goal is consistent progress while managing fatigue and avoiding burnout.
What happens after I submit the application form?
Once your application is submitted, it’s reviewed to assess fit and alignment. If it looks like a good match, you’ll be contacted to discuss goals, expectations, and next steps. If it’s not the right fit, we’ll let you know honestly — no pressure and no obligation.
How does communication and accountability work?
Communication is ongoing and direct. You’ll have regular check-ins, feedback on training and nutrition, and clear guidance on what to focus on next. Accountability is built into the process so you always know where you stand and what’s expected.
Can I refer friends and receive a referral credit?
Yes. If you refer a friend and they fill out the form on this page and move forward with coaching, you’ll receive $25 off your next session. Referrals are simple, pressure-free, and a great way to support others while being rewarded for it.
